Happy anniversary to the 512 Martian States

On July 4th, 1776 Anno Novus, American president Xergoplon Vzeftaitz signed the Earth Exodus Act, forming our home, the 512 Martian States. What followed was a mass migration from the now-uninhabitable planet known as Earth—over 350 million people settled down along the rushing rivers of New Olympus or on the verdant Elysium Planitia.
